Teen Charged With Making Bomb Threats By 'Clown' Against Norwalk High NORWALK, Conn. -- Within hours of a threat being made on Instagram against Norwalk High School, Norwalk Police had tracked down the 15-year-old they said was responsible and arrested him Friday. The 15-year-old was charged with two counts of threatening after he used the Instagram name "Norwalk Clowns" to make the threat after school hours, Lt. Terry Blake said. Man Tells Darien Police: 'Too Intoxicated' To Perform Sobriety Tests DARIEN, Conn. -- Honesty should count for something. A Norwalk man told Darien Police he was too intoxicated to get out of his car to perform field sobriety tests as police investigated a minor traffic accident Sunday afternoon, police said. Darien Police Charge Norwalk Woman With DWI DARIEN, Conn. -- A Norwalk woman picked the wrong place to weave across Interstate 95 as a Darien Police officer was right behind her and she was charged with driving under the influence, according to police reports. Wilton Student Charged In Fight On Wilton Football Field On Aug. 31 WILTON, Conn. -- An 18-year-old has been charged in connection with the Aug. 31 attack during a scavenger hunt by Ridgefield High School students that ended in a melee on Wilton High School's football field and a Ridgefield student sent to hospital. Giants Star Victor Cruz Bringing STEM To Greenwich Boys & Girls Club GREENWICH, Conn. -- New York Giants star Victor Cruz will be promoting a fire safety and science program at the Greenwich Boys & Girls Club on Monday, Oct. 17. Cruz will speak about the mission of his foundation, The Victor Cruz Foundation, which seeks to increase interest in the STEM career fields of science, technology, engineering and mathematics. He will present a donation to the club in support of its after school STEM program. The Greenwich Fire Department will also conduct a fire safety program for sixth- to eighth-graders. NYC Woman Arrested In Stamford Maternity Ward Faces New Charge STAMFORD, Conn. -- A New York City woman who was arrested after she was found wandering in Stamford Hospital's maternity ward last month was picked up in Boston after she was found wandering in a hospital there, Stamford Police said. Norwalk Man Charged With Insurance Fraud: Norwalk Police NORWALK, Conn. -- A Norwalk man on the sex offender registry allegedly filed a false insurance claim that equipment from his boat had been stolen, Norwalk Police said. Greenwich Mother Overdoses On Heroin While Young Son Watched TV: Police GREENWICH, Conn, -- As her crying young son watched TV, a 28-year-old woman overdosed in her apartment, said police who charged her Monday with risk of injury to a child. Guatemalan Native Found Dead Under Stamford Porch; No Sign Of Foul Play STAMFORD, Conn. -- A homeless man who was found dead under the front porch of an abandoned home died of natural causes, Stamford Police said. Police have identified the man as Lorenzo Ochoa Beltran, 52, a native of Guatemala, said Sgt. Paul Guzda. "We believe he died during the night and there was no sign of foul play or trauma," he said. New York Man Found Hiding In Bathroom Of Greenwich Building Late At Night GREENWICH, Conn. -- A New York City man who claimed a janitor let him into a Mason Street building late Wednesday was arrested by Greenwich Police Charged with second-degree burglary and second-degree criminal trespass is Courtney K. Pryor, 39, of 208 West 151st St., Apt. B 23. A janitor who was working in a second-floor office just after 10 p.m. noticed a man try to get into the office before leaving to walk down the hallway and enter a bathroom, police said. The janitor called police and when police questioned the suspect he said the janitor had let him into the building.
