Hunter Charged With Trespassing After Scare Near Darien High School DARIEN, Conn. -- A camouflaged bow hunter who caused alarm when he was spotted in the woods near a Darien school earlier this month has been ticketed for trespassing because he didn't have written permission to hunt on private property, Darien Police said Wednesday. At about 8:30 a.m. Nov. 17, the Darien Police Department received a report of a white man dressed in full camouflage in the woods close to Darien High School. Air Force Academy Grad Leads Runners At Fairfield's Thanksgiving Road Race FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Patrick Corona picked a good place to run his first race after recovering from a right knee injury as he breezed to a win in his hometown's 39th Annual Pequot Runners Thanksgiving Day Road Race on Thursday morning. Corona, 22, graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in the spring and is currently in Oklahoma for pilot training. Police Seek Multiple Suspects In Stabbing Of Stamford Man STAMFORD, Conn. -- A 24-year-old Stamford man was in stable condition after he was stabbed multiple times in a confrontation with several men Tuesday afternoon, police said. Stamford Police Identify Woman, 56, Killed In Hit-And-Run Accident STAMFORD, Conn. -- Police have identified the 56-year-old Stamford woman who died as a result of her in a hit-and-run accident Saturday night. Darien Police: Norwalk Woman Was Driving Four Times Legal Alcohol Limit DARIEN, Conn., -- A Stamford man was able to stop a woman who later recorded blood alcohol readings more than four times the legal limit, Darien Police said. Stamford Man Charged With Assaulting Officer, Burning Leaves STAMFORD, Conn. -- A tense confrontation with a Stamford man suspected of burning leaves Saturday morning ended with the man subdued by officers after he struggled with and insulted police officers, police said.
