Bridgeport Man, 55, Arrested On DUI Charge After Hit-And-Run Crash BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A 55-year-old Bridgeport man was charged with drunken driving after he was nabbed in Milford police for leaving the scene of an accident, Milford police said. The accident happened at about 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at New Haven Avenue and Old Gate Lane in Milford, police said. Danbury Police Searching For Missing Woman, 53 DANBURY, Conn. — Danbury police are searching for a missing 53-year-old woman who has not been seen since Friday.  Laelcira DeLima, 53, was last seen wearing a black v-neck shirt and blue jeans. She was last seen on Friday, Oct. 20 at 5 p.m., police said. She could be driving a red 2016 Honda Accord with Connecticut license plates of AC98150. Two-Car Crash Blocks Lanes On The Merritt In Trumbull UPDATE: The crash scene on the Merritt Parkway has been cleared.  TRUMBULL, Conn. — A two-crash on the Merritt Parkway is causing delays in the Trumbull area on Monday morning, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.  The two-vehicle is on the southbound of the Merritt between Exits 48 and 47. The right lane is closed in the area. Delays are reported back past Route 25. The crash was reported Monday at 8:31 a.m., DOT said. It was not clear how long it would take to clear the scene.

Three-Alarm Fire Destroys Barn In New Canaan NEW CANAAN, Conn. — Flames soared 40 feet into the area as a three-alarm fire completely destroyed a barn in New Canaan on Sunday night, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.  The 1,472-square-foot barn was located at 986 South Ave. on a property with a house built in 1790, according to the Advertiser.
