Bridgeport Man, 55, Arrested On DUI Charge After Hit-And-Run Crash BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A 55-year-old Bridgeport man was charged with drunken driving after he was nabbed in Milford police for leaving the scene of an accident, Milford police said. The accident happened at about 11 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21, at New Haven Avenue and Old Gate Lane in Milford, police said. A vehicle left the scene, but was found traveling west on New Haven Avenue, police said. Officers stopped the car, which was driven by Nicky Mora, 55, of 935 Pearl Harbor St. in Bridgeport, police said. Have You Seen Her? Danbury Police Searching For Missing Woman, 53 DANBURY, Conn. — Danbury police are searching for a missing 53-year-old woman who has not been seen since Friday. Laelcira DeLima, 53, was last seen wearing a black v-neck shirt and blue jeans. She was last seen on Friday, Oct. 20 at 5 p.m., police said. She could be driving a red 2016 Honda Accord with Connecticut license plates of AC98150. No further information was released by police. Anyone who has spotted DeLima or has information about DeLima or her possible whereabouts is asked to contact the Danbury Police Department 203-797-4611.

Police: Easton Man Pushed Officer, Tried To Throw Chair During Arrest EASTON, Conn. — Easton officers who responded to a report of a verbal altercation at a local home were pushed by a 46-year-old man who also grabbed and tried to throw a patio chair, police said. Officers responded to 533 Sport Hill Road at about 12:20 a.m. Saturday, police said. When officers tried to investigate, Shawn Mauro was uncooperative and belligerent, police said. WATERBURY, Conn. — Westbound I-84 is closed in Waterbury at midday Monday due to a serious crash involving a tractor-trailer and a car, state police said. There are life-threatening injuries in the crash between Exits 19 and 20, state police said. The crash occurred at about 10:15 a.m., and the highway was still closed two hours later. Two-Car Crash Blocks Lanes On The Merritt In Trumbull UPDATE: The crash scene on the Merritt Parkway has been cleared. TRUMBULL, Conn. — A two-crash on the Merritt Parkway is causing delays in the Trumbull area on Monday morning, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation. The two-vehicle is on the southbound of the Merritt between Exits 48 and 47. The right lane is closed in the area. Delays are reported back past Route 25. The crash was reported Monday at 8:31 a.m., DOT said. It was not clear how long it would take to clear the scene.

3 People Displaced After House Fire in Norwalk NORWALK, Conn. — A family of three was burned out of their home Sunday night in Norwalk after a fire spread from the kitchen through the first floor, according to The Hour. Firefighters responded to 18 Nash Place at about 8 p.m. and found flames coming from the front door and back windows of the two-family home, The Hour said. Three-Alarm Fire Destroys Barn In New Canaan NEW CANAAN, Conn. — Flames soared 40 feet into the area as a three-alarm fire completely destroyed a barn in New Canaan on Sunday night, according to the New Canaan Advertiser. The 1,472-square-foot barn was located at 986 South Ave. on a property with a house built in 1790, according to the Advertiser. Traffic Alert: Shelter Rock Road Closed In Bethel For Work On Storm Drains BETHEL, Conn. — Drivers who use Shelter Rock Road in Bethel near Meckauer Park in Bethel near the Danbury border will need to find a detour.
