74-Year-Old Man Charged With Firing Shotgun Into Marina In Greenwich GREENWICH, Conn. — A 74-year-old Greenwich man was arrested after he fired a shotgun — twice — into the marina near Grass Island Park in Greenwich on Friday, Oct. 20, according to Patch.com. Richard D. Francisco fired the weapon twice near pedestrians, causing great alarm, Greenwich police told Patch.com.  No injuries were reported, but Francisco had aimed into the water and in the general direction of docked boats, according to Patch.com. Former Norwalk Man Killed In Collision With Tractor-Trailer On I-84 WATERBURY, Conn. — A Stratford trucker was involved in a collision on I-84 on Monday that killed a former Norwalk resident, according to Connecticut State Police and media reports.  Howard Pellagrino, 55, of Waterbury, was killed in the accident on westbound I-84 in Waterbury, state police said. He was a former resident of Norwalk, according to the Connecticut Post.  Pellagrino was westbound on I-84 when his 2013 Canyon GMC pickup truck collided with a Greenwood Motor Lines truck driven by Kazimierz Plaskawicki, 41, of Stratford, state police said.
