93-Year-Old Man Crosses Item Off Bucket List, With Help Of Fairfield Police FAIRFIELD, Conn. — The Fairfield Police Department came to the service of a 93-year-old man who has served his country. The officers helped Donald Murray, a World War II veteran and former B-25 pilot, to cross an item off his bucket list — with a special ride along.  Murray wanted to take a ride on a police boat as part of his bucket list, the Fairfield Police Department said in a Facebook post.  “We were happy to help him cross that off his list!,” police said. “Thank you for your service sir!”
