Police: Bethel Man Thought He Was On Merritt When He Crashed In Parking Lot MILFORD, Conn. — A 27-year-old Bethel man was arrested on drunken driving charges after he crashed in a parking lot but told officers he thought he was on the Merritt Parkway, Milford police said. Emanuel Cambra, of 110 Codfish Hill Road, Bethel, was arrested at 3 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 13, and charged with driving under the influence. Police Identify 27-Year-Old Stratford Woman Killed In Shooting STRATFORD, Conn. — Stratford police have identified the 27-year-old woman who was shot to death during an argument early Sunday. Raenetta Catchings, of Stratford, was pronounced dead at Bridgeport Hospital as a result of her injuries in the shooting on North Avenue, Stratford police Capt. Frank Eannotti said Monday. Homeless Man Arrested In Car Break-In Faces More Charges In Westport WESTPORT, Conn. — A homeless man from New York City who was arrested Friday after he was seen breaking into a car in Westport is now facing even more charges, Westport police said Monday. Five Teens Charged In Trumbull Crime Spree After High-Speed Police Pursuit TRUMBULL, Conn. — Five teenagers were arrested after a robbery at the Westfield Trumbull Mall and a high-speed police pursuit for several miles in a BMW SUV that was stolen out of New Canaan, Trumbull police said.
