Driver Killed When Car Sought In Earlier Crash Hits Tree On Merritt FAIRFIELD, Conn. — A man was killed when the car he was driving — which had been involved in an earlier accident — slammed into a tree off the Merritt Parkway late Monday night, police said.  The fatal crash occurred at 11:35 p.m. as the 2015 Chrysler 200 was heading south near Exit 46 of the Merritt near the Fairfield-Trumbull border, state police said.  The car began taking the exit ramp at Exit 46 but failed to negotiate the curve, continued straight off the road and into the woods, then slammed into a tree, state police said. Bridgeport Man Gets 12 Years In Federal Prison For Sex Trafficking 2 Girls BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A 29-year-old Bridgeport man was sentenced Monday to spend 151 months behind bars for trafficking two minor girls to engage in sex. The prison term for Jason "Boots" Prawl will be followed by five years of supervised release, said Deirdre M. Daly, U.S. Attorney for Connecticut. Couple Charged With Having Sex By The Sound In Bridgeport BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — Two people were arrested after they had sex on the rocks Saturday at West Beach at Seaside Park in Bridgeport, according to the Connecticut Post.  Hannah Brouard, 36, of Stratford and David Rodrigues, 41, of Bridgeport, were charged with public indecency and risk of injury to a minor, police told the Post, and Brouard was also charged with interfering with police. Many people on the beach, including a 10-year-old child, witnessed the act, which took place on the rocks leading to the lighthouse, The Connecticut Post said.
