New Castle Police announced the arrest of Peter Russell, 64, after a Saturday morning search of his home, at 24 Red Oak Lane, which is in the Mount Kisco postal section of town, as part of an investigation for possible methamphetamine manufacturing. Chappaqua Swim & Tennis Club Raises $35,000 In Cancer Fund-raiser CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- The Chappaqua Swim & Tennis Club opened its pool and its heart Sunday, July 13 to host its third annual charity swim on behalf of Swim Across America to raise money for cancer research, prevention, and treatment. According to club spokesperson Carrie Dillon, nearly 50 swimmers of all ages participated by swimming either a half mile or a mile, raising more than $35,000 with donations still coming in. Planning Board Enables Inn At Pound Ridge's Parking Expansion POUND RIDGE, N.Y. -- The Pound Ridge Planning Board gave its approval to modifying the site plan for The Inn at Pound Ridge by Jean-Georges, a measure needed for the restaurant's proposed on-site parking expansion.
