Mount Kisco police said Mario Coronado was arrested after a 911 call about 3:41 a.m. Thursday, July 3, from a residence on Maple Avenue. Two officers responded and were told that a man had entered the woman's bedroom, police said. Coronado is accused of then assaulting the woman by choking her and grabbing her throat with his hands. Armonk Gazebo Roof Collapse Announced By Town Administrator ARMONK, N.Y. -- The roof for a gazebo in Armonk’s Wampus Brook Park collapsed recently, damaging a truck underneath it. The collapse was announced by North Castle Town Administrator Joan Goldberg at the Town Board’s June 25 meeting when discussion came up about a proposed change order for renovation work on the structure. North Castle Town Board Backs Union Contracts After Heated Remarks ARMONK, N.Y. -- Members of North Castle's Town Board unanimously approved a pair of CSEA union contracts Wednesday night after tense remarks from members of the public. Under the terms of the contracts, which were outlined by Town Administrator Joan Goldberg, there will be the creation of a new employee class that has a starting salary of around $20,000 less.
