Norwalk Woman Charged With Defrauding Law Firm Of Nearly $15,000 NORWALK, Conn. -- A former employee at a Norwalk law firm cashed almost $15,000 in checks to herself before the scheme was discovered in late September, Norwalk Police said. Charged with seven counts each of first-degree identity theft and third-degree forgery along with one count of second-degree larceny is Ashley Arroyo, 22, of 10 Stonehedge Road, Norwalk. She was arrested at her home on Thursday. Her bond was set at $75,000, and she is scheduled to make her first appearance in court on Nov. 14.
