Pair Of Women Attack Roommate Who Was Trying To Evict Them STAMFORD, Conn. -- A pair of 23-year-old women are facing assault and robbery charges after they attacked their 27-year-old roommate and smashed the video cameras she had installed in the residence as she was in the process of evicting them, Stamford police said. Kelly Bankowski, and Alicia Bellantoni, both of 9 Cold Spring Road, were each charged with third-degree assault, third-degree criminal mischief, disorderly conduct, third-degree robbery and third-degree conspiracy to commit robbery. Man Charged In Failed Convenience Store Robbery In Stamford STAMFORD, Conn. -- A city teenager who tried to elude police by going into the basement of a Cove Road convenience store after an attempted robbery at another nearby store Saturday night was arrested, Stamford Police said. Enller Coste Vargas, 19, of 820 E. Main St., was charged with attempted robbery and criminal trespass. He was held in police custody after failing to make $15,000 bond. In the robbery, Sgt. Model Trains Entrance Young And Old At Wilton Exhibit WILTON, Conn. -- Trains bring out the child in everyone -- and that includes Jon Perelstein, a volunteer "trainman" at the Wilton Historical Society's Great Trains Exhibit. Warm Temps Aid Fairfield County Runners As Boston Buildup Series Steps Off NORWALK, Conn. -- On a day when the rain held off and the temperatures were in the low 40s instead of below zero, more than 300 runners took to the streets in the first race of the Boston Buildup series Sunday in Norwalk. Police Express 'Grave Concerns' Over Stamford Man Missing More Than A Week STAMFORD, Conn. -- The police department has "grave concerns" about a Stamford man who is still missing despite days of searching by police and his family, a senior officer said. 2014 In Review: Two Tragic Deaths Rock Greenwich GREENWICH, Conn. -- A pair of untimely deaths marked Greenwich's year in 2014. Emily Fedorko, 16, died Aug. 6 in a water-tubing accident Wednesday on the waters of Long Island Sound off Greenwich Point.
