Man Charged With Making Video Of Woman, 48, In Stamford Beach Bathroom STAMFORD, Conn. -- As a 48-year-old woman was in a stall in the West Beach bathroom Sunday morning she noticed a man looking under the door trying to make a video of her with a cellphone, Stamford police said. Police were notified, and the harbor unit, which was in the area, spotted the suspect, police said. The man was apprehended and arrested soon afterward by other police units that arrived at the beach, police said. Stamford Man Charged With Putting BB Handgun To Friend's Head STAMFORD, Conn. -- A 21-year-old Stamford man was charged with putting a BB handgun to a friend's head during a dispute early Saturday before fleeing the scene, police said. German Galicia-Segura, of 25 Coolidge Ave., was charged with carrying and brandishing a facsimile firearm, third-degree assault, second-degree breach of peace and second-degree threatening. Police Search For Stamford Man In Armed Robbery Of Check-Cashing Business STAMFORD, Conn., -- Stamford Police are looking for the suspect in the robbery of a check-cashing business at gunpoint and the assault of two employees, police said. Parim Vrzivoly, 35, with a last known address of 631 Fairfield Ave., is wanted in connection with the robbery at Mega Express Check Cashing at 341 Main St., police said. Wilton Celebrating Fourth With Road Race, Softball, Music, Fireworks WILTON, Conn., -- The anniversary of America's independence will be celebrated in a full day of events capped off with a fireworks show in Wilton on Saturday. The day begins at 8:30 a.m. Saturday with the 5K Freedom Run Road Race. The cost of the non-timed race is $10 for children ages 14 and younger, and $20 for those 15 and up. New Canaan Celebrating Independence With Family Fourth Fireworks NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- The 35th Annual Family Fourth of July Celebration will be held on Saturday at Waveny Park in New Canaan, weather permitting.
