Two Men Charged In Armed Robbery Of Stamford Convenience Store STAMFORD, Conn. -- A robber pointed a black handgun at a store clerk in a brazen mid-morning robbery Wednesday at a Stamford convenience store, but quick work by alert officers led to the arrest of the suspected robber and his alleged accomplice in Norwalk, police said. Francis Manigault, 41, with a last known address of 2960 8th Ave., New York City, entered the West Main Grocery Store at 495 W. Fireworks Display Friday At Binney Park, Greenwich Point Park GREENWICH, Conn., -- The Fourth of July is a day to celebrate America and it's always a blast at Greenwich's fireworks displays which this year will take place on Friday. Contractor, Worker Charged In Dispute Over Building Materials In Wilton WILTON, Conn. -- A contractor and his employee are facing charges after one of them lay down in front of a delivery truck and the other blocked it in during a dispute over construction materials at a home renovation in Wilton, police said. Stamford Man Charged With Choking, Attacking Fiancée Several Times STAMFORD, Conn. -- A Stamford man took out his frustrations on losing Xbox games and hitting a pothole with his low-riding car by assaulting his fiancee on numerous occasions and using a belt to strangle her and causing her not to breathe, police said. Teens Charged With Using Stun Gun At Stamford High Summer School STAMFORD, Conn. -- Two teenagers are facing charges after a stun gun was used during summer school at Stamford High on Friday, police said. Wilton 'Konnects' With New Outdoor Artwork On River Road WILTON, Conn. -- Wilton is turning into a home for outdoor art. On Friday, the newest piece of sculpture was unveiled in a ceremony. Queens Man Charged With Assaulting Pregnant Girlfriend At Stamford Hotel STAMFORD, Conn. -- A pregnant woman with a bloody mouth and bruises across her body told Stamford officers that she had fallen in the bathroom when they responded to a city motel about a complaint early Wednesday, police said.
