Lanes Closed In Both Directions After Tractor-Trailer Rollover On I-84 DANBURY, Conn. — Lanes were closed in both directions of I-84 in Danbury on Tuesday night due to a tractor-trailer rollover accident with injuries, according to the Connecticut State Police. The crash is near Exit 3 for Route 7, according to state police. The left lane was closed on the eastbound side, and the left and center lanes were closed on the westbound side, state police said. Special Ed Teacher Pleads Not Guilty To Sex Assault Of Bridgeport Student BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A former Central High teacher pleaded not guilty to sexually assaulting a special education student and requested a jury trial as she made a court appearance Tuesday, according to the Connecticut Post. Laura Ramos, 31, of Milford, resigned from her teaching job the day after her arrest June 20. She is charged with second-degree sexual assault, accused of having a sexual relationship with an 18-year-old male student from December until April, police said. State Police Taser Then Arrest Bridgeport Man, 34, Walking Along I-95 BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A Bridgeport man was arrested after fighting with state police troopers who had to Taser him to stop him from walking illegally along the shoulder of I-95 in Bridgeport, state police said. Wilton Man, 19, Charged With Sexual Assault WILTON, Conn. — A 19-year-old Wilton man was arrested Monday on a charge of sexually assaulting a female victim while she slept at his home, police said. Duncan O'Neil was arrested on a warrant in connection with the incident, which police said happened on June 19. O'Neil turned himself in at headquarters and was charged with fourth-degree sexual assault in the incident, police said.
