State Police Investigate Tractor-Trailer Rollover On I-84 In Danbury DANBURY, Conn. — The driver was not hurt and state police were investigating after a tractor-trailer slammed into a Jersey barrier in the center median of I-84 in Danbury and rolled over, according to state police. Administrators Appointed At Stamford's Springdale, Davenport Ridge Schools STAMFORD, Conn. — Stamford Schools Superintendent Earl Kim and the Stamford Board of Education have appointed two administrators for the new school year. Casey Cummings will become assistant principal of Springdale Elementary School effective Aug. 28, and Kathleen Kelley will become interim assistant principal at Davenport Ridge Elementary School effective Aug. 3. Community Rallies To Help Ridgefield High Grad With Rare Form Of Leukemia RIDGEFIELD, Conn. — The community is rallying online and in person to help an athlete from the Class of 2013 at Ridgefield High School who is battling a rare form of leukemia. Harrison Mauldin, who played lacrosse at Ridgefield High and at Bard College, was diagnosed in March with T-cell lymphoblastic lymphoma, a rare form of leukemia. Two Teenagers Busted On Pot Charges At Peartree Point Beach In Darien DARIEN, Conn. — A tip from an off-duty officer with his eyes and ears open who believed he saw a drug sale at Peartree Point Beach in Darien led to the bust of two teens on pot charges, police said.
