Registration Opens For Norwalk Little League NORWALK, Conn. – Online registration has opened for the Norwalk Little League. Players ages 4 to 12 can register online. A registration pizza party is planned for Friday, Jan. 10, from 6 to 10 p.m. at The Batters Box, 327 Main Ave., Norwalk. Players and parents can register, and enjoy free use of the batting cages and eat pizza. Pre-registered players can also hit at the cages. Darien Boy Helps Wilton Relay Team Set State Swimming Record WILTON, Conn. – The Wilton Wahoos swim team set a state record in the 400-yard medley relay in the 13- and 14-year-old boys division in a Thanksgiving Invitational meet. Wilton’s Robby Giller, Weston’s Stefan Garbee, Ridgefield’s Jack Lynch and Darien’s James Mostofi combined on the record-breaking swim for the Wahoos. Sister Eleanor Keeney, 90, Of Maryknoll In Ossining MARYKNOLL, N.Y. -- Sister Eleanor Keeney died on Nov. 29 after a fall at Maryknoll, N.Y.  She was 90 years old and celebrated 65 years as a Maryknoll Sister on Sept. 4 of this year. Maryknoll is located in Ossining. Keeney was born on March 16, 1923, in West Hoboken, N.J. to Mary (Dimmick) Keeney and John Keeney. Eleanor graduated from St. Brendan’s H.S.in 1941 and Jersey City Med. Center-Nursing School with an R.N in 1945. Wilton Girls Advance In Prestigious National Track Series WILTION, Conn. -- Runners from Weston and Wilton qualified for the semifinals in the prestigious Colgate Women’s Games in New York. Wilton’s Madison Peraino and Annika Sheehan qualified for the semifinals, along with Weston’s Kathleen Murphy. They run for the Connecticut Elite, which is based in Wilton. The semifinals are scheduled for Dec. 22. In the high school 800 meters, Peraino qualified with a time of 2:30.1 and Sheehan in 2:29.7. This is the first time for each runner competing in the games.
