Sites, Times Moved For State Title Games For Fairfield County Teams FAIRFIELD COUNTY, Conn. – Starting times for the state championship football games involving Darien, New Canaan and Fairfield Prep were changed Thursday morning due to a forecast for snow this weekend. Darien and New Canaan will now play for the Class L championship on Saturday, Dec. 14, at Boyle Stadium in Stamford. Darien Girls Help Synchronized Skating Team Win Gold DARIEN, Conn. – Two girls from Darien competed for the Skyliners Beginner team that won a gold medal Saturday at the Terry Conners Synchronized Skating Open in Stamford. Lily Hudson and Ivey Rao skated on the winning team for the Skyliners, whose teams also won the Pre-Juvenile and Juvenile competitions. Skyliners took second in the Preliminary Division. Skyliners represent the Springdale Figure Skating Club in Stamford and the Skating Club of New York. The team has nine competitive lines with 176 skaters ranging in ages from 9 to 23. Admission is $10 for the class, which is for kids ages 8-and-up. The workshop offers an intro to Tinkercad, a simple software to design things, then build them in real-life using a MakerBot Replicator 2 Desktop 3D Printer.
