Dinner, Auction Supports Norwalk High Marching Band NORWALK, Conn. – A dinner with music and auctions to benefit the Norwalk High School marching band will be held at the Norwalk American Legion Hall on Friday, Jan. 31. The event runs from  5:30 to 11 p.m. The American Legion Hall is at 60 County St. in Norwalk. The evening includes dinner, dessert, music, dancing and a silent and live auction. Chaplain Dies From Burns Suffered In Danbury Gas Station Explosion DANBURY, Conn. – A chaplain died Tuesday from the injuries he suffered an explosion at a Danbury gas station last month, according to a blog in The News-Times. The Rev. David Wentroble, who lived in Danbury, died Tuesday at Bridgeport Hospital, where he had been treated since the explosion on Friday, Dec. 20. He was the chaplain at Nyack Hospital in New York and was a minister at Central Presbyterian Church in Haverstraw, N.Y.
