Outpatient Clinics For Veterans Closed Due To Storm WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – The Veterans Administration Hudson Valley Health Care system’s Community Based Outpatient Clinics are closed Wednesday due to weather. The VA Medical Centers in Montrose and Castle Point. The clinics were closed for the day in Carmel, Eastern Dutchess (Pine Plains), Goshen, Monticello, New City, Port Jervis and Poughkeepsie. Yonkers Cuts Two Days From April Break Following Winter Storms YONKERS, N.Y. -- Yonkers Public Schools will have classes on Tuesday, April 15, and Wednesday, April 16, to make up for days missed because of storms. The April days had previously been part of the district’s Spring Break. Yonkers Public Schools provide for two emergency closing days. School was also canceled on Tuesday, Dec. 10, and Wednesday, Jan. 22, so there was no need to make up thosed two days.

Weston High Football Coach Moves To League Rival WESTON, Conn. – The Weston High School football coach stepped down to accept the same position at Masuk High School in Monroe, it was announced Tuesday. Joe Lato had coached at Weston for eight years and compiled a 35-49 record. Lato’s best season came in 2012, when the Trojans went 9-3 and advanced to the Class M state tournament. Judge Robin Pavia decided there was enough evidence to charge Emanuel Harris, 17, with the murder of Luan Pitol, also 17, the report said.
