Storm Forecast Postpones School Gardens Workshop In Rye RYE, N.Y. – The snow and ice storm predicted for Tuesday night into Wednesday has forced the postponement of an event hosted by the Rye YMCA and Jay Heritage Center. “Seeds to Schools: A School Gardens Workshop” will be re-scheduled. Weekend Storm In White Plains Could Be A Whopper -- Or Not WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. – Brace yourself, Westchester County. Following the latest storm expected to arrive overnight Tuesday into Wednesday, more snow is headed this way this weekend, and could be up to 2 feet, according to some forecasts. Two models show different paths for the projected storm. The European model shows the storm veering more out to sea. Lewisboro Woman Charged With DWI LEWISBORO, N.Y. – A 42-year-old Lewisboro woman was arrested Monday, Feb. 3, by the New York State Police and charged with driving while intoxicated . Pamela N. Bates was charged after an accident that resulted in property damage on Oakridge Drive in Lewisboro. A State Police report said Bates’ blood alcohol content was .14 percent; .08 percent is the legal limit. Bates is scheduled to appear at the Town of Lewisboro Court on Monday, Feb. 10, at 5 p.m.

Ossining's Chong Bounces Back For UConn's Women's Basketball OSSINING, N.Y. – Ossining’s Saniya Chong had one of the best games of her blossoming career Saturday for the University of Connecticut in a 86-29 blowout of Cincinnati.
