Fairfield County Office Leasing Shows Strong Growth For 2014 STAMFORD, Conn. -- Office space leasing showed strong growth in Fairfield County and Westchester County last year, according to statistics released Thursday by Stamford-based CBRE. Fairfield County’s availability rate dropped by 45 basis points, driven by tenant expansions in the Greenwich-Stamford Central Business District (CBD) and non-CBD submarkets, ending 2014 at 20.5 percent. Firefighters Put Out Morning Blaze At Yonkers Home YONKERS -- Yonkers Fire Department quickly extinguished a fire on Highland Terrace on Thursday morning. According to a story on News12.com, fire officials said the blaze started when the homeowner's cigar blew into a woodpile stacked near the house Wednesday night. The smoldering ashes erupted into a morning blaze. A 7 a.m. call alerted the fire department to the blaze. There were no injuries and there was minimal damage to the home.

The girls team, sponsored by Servco Oil, lost to Norwalk, 30-20, on Saturday and to Monroe, 33-21, on Sunday. Against Norwalk, Wilton quickly took the lead in the first quarter.
