The event begins at 1 p.m. at the Adrian Lamb Room. Visitors will learn how to identify birds in the region by sight and sound. Guests also will learn who is at the feeder at this time of year, feeding habits and their characteristics. Westchester County Office Leasing Showed Improvement In 2014 WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Office space leasing in Westchester County and Fairfield County improved in 2014, according to statistics released Thursday by the Stamford-based CBRE. In Westchester, 73,923 square feet of negative absorption was recorded, which was nonetheless an improvement from the 365,067 square feet of negative absorption seen in 2013. Westchester East and the White Plains CBD submarkets recorded 43 percent and 21 percent of leases countywide, respectively. Stamford Man Gets Prison Time For Stealing From Autistic Resident STAMFORD, Conn. -- A Stamford man was sentenced to six years in prison Thursday for stealing $100 from an autistic man in a case that shocked the city in September, The Advocated reported. Steven St. Jacques, 20, was sentenced by Judge Richard Comerford after pleading guilty to second-degree larceny and second-degree robbery in November, the Advocate said. The sentence will be suspended after three years. Video of the crime showed St. Jacques stealing the money from Patrick Kogut, 27, at Stamford Town Center.
