Conifer, the developer for a proposed 28-unit affordable-housing structure in Chappaqua, filed suit against the town in February over the timing of when its special permit for the project is set to expire. Ex-Hotel At Armonk's Breezemont Day Camp Gets Landmark Status ARMONK, N.Y. -- North Castle's Town Board recently voted to grant local landmark status to a large building on Breezemont Day Camp's property, that once served as a hotel. Susan Shimer, who is chair of the town's Landmarks Preservation Commission, said that maps from 1867, 1882 and 1891 showed the building. She added that it served as a hotel as of 1911.
