SOMERS, N.Y. -- New York State Police announced that the woman killed in a two-vehicle accident Friday night in Somers was a 78-year-old Norwalk, Conn., resident. The collision, which was at the intersection of Route 35 and Route 100, happened at around 7:10 p.m., state police said. The two vehicles involved were a 2008 Volvo that was driven by a 16-year-old person from Somers and a 2012 Honda that was driven by a 65-year-old Connecticut resident, according to police.
