Putnam County Savings Bank To Buy CMS For Roughly $25.4 Million PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- Putnam County Savings Bank (PCSB) recently announced that it will acquire CMS Bancorp, Inc. for approximately $25.4 million in cash, or $13.25 per share.  According to PCSB, the deal would mean the addition of five Westchester County branches. Currently, PCSB lists 10 branches throughout the region. PCSB also intends the replace the CMS brand name at the branches with its own. The deal also calls for a CMS director to join the PCSB board. Man, 24, Charged With DWI After Stop On I-84 In Southeast PUTNAM COUNTY, N.Y. -- A Danbury, Conn., man is due to appear in the Town of Southeast's local after being arrested and charged with Driving While Intoxicated, New York State Police announced. Nicholas Parker, 24, was stopped on Sept. 28 at around 12:38 a.m. on Interstate 84 by troopers from the Brewster barracks, according to state police.  Parker was stopped, state police claim, "for making an unsafe lane change." Parker's court date is on Oct. 21 at 6 p.m., police added.
