Norwalk Cops: Man Ticketed After Walking In Front Of Motorist NORWALK, Conn. — A 56-year-old Norwalk man suffered serious injuries after he was struck by a vehicle Tuesday morning, police said. The accident occurred around 11 a.m. on Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Drive at Lowe Street when the possibly inebriated man walked out in front of the vehicle, police said. The man was issued a citation for improper use of the highway while the motorist was not cited, police said.  Police did not release the man's name or details of his condition.

DUI Enforcement In Norwalk Nabs Numerous Drivers NORWALK, Conn. — Three drivers were charged with driving while under the influence and one motorist was issued a ticket for not having a 2-year-old child in a seatbelt during a DUI checkpoint held Saturday along the West Avenue corridor, Norwalk Police said.  Six Norwalk Police officers and a pair of Wilton Police officers participated in the enforcement action.
