Stamford Man Wanted On Hundreds Of Identity Theft Counts STAMFORD, Conn. -- The Stamford Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in finding a man who is wanted on hundreds of counts of identity theft and illegal credit card use. Agustin Chafloque, 33, is wanted by the department's Financial Crimes Unit for 279 counts of second-degree identity theft, 250 counts of illegal use of a credit card, and second-degree larceny, police said. Person On Tracks In Darien Not Injured When Metro-North Train Stops In Time DARIEN, Conn. -- A train bound for New York City was able to stop in time when a person walked onto the tracks in Darien at 5:25 a.m. Friday, a Metro-North spokesman said.Meredith Daniels said the individual was taken into custody by MTA Police. She had no further information on the person or whether any charges were filed.
