Trio Charged In Attack On Man In Stamford Club STAMFORD, Conn. -- Three men have been arrested in connection with the beating of a man who had attempted to protect his girlfriend from being harassed at a Stamford night club earlier this month, police alleged. Andre Bryant, 32, of 28 Perry St., Stamford and two Bridgeport men: Darius Gamble, 30, of 109 George St., and Woodrow Wilson Walker, 36, of 109 George St., are each charged with two counts of third-degree assault and two counts of conspiracy to commit assault. Stamford Man Wanted On Hundreds Of Identity Theft Counts STAMFORD, Conn. -- The Stamford Police Department is asking for the public’s assistance in finding a man who is wanted on hundreds of counts of identity theft and illegal credit card use. Agustin Chafloque, 33, is wanted by the department's Financial Crimes Unit for 279 counts of second-degree identity theft, 250 counts of illegal use of a credit card, and second-degree larceny, police said. Chafloque is believed to be residing somewhere on the East Side of Stamford, according to police. Stamford Police Warn Residents Of Rising Tide Of Thefts From Vehicles STAMFORD, Conn., -- As the number of thefts from vehicles continue to skyrocket in the city, police are urging residents to take basic steps to secure their vehicles. Stamford Woman, Bridgeport Taxi Driver Face Drugs Charges STAMFORD, Conn. -- A woman and her alleged taxi driver/supplier are face drug charges after they were caught in the act of what Stamford police said was a drug deal Tuesday. Man Struck, Killed By Metro-North Train Near Westport Station WESTPORT, Conn. — A man is dead after he was struck and killed by a New Haven-bound Metro-North Railroad train on Wednesday morning in Westport, officials said, The incident occurred at about 11:20 a.m. just east of the Westport train station, said Metro-North spokesman Aaron Donovan. Two Teens Charged With Trespassing After Climbing Onto Roof Of Wilton CVS WILTON, Conn. — Two teens were charged with third-degree criminal trespass after they were spotted traipsing on to roof of the CVS pharmacy at 93 Old Ridgefield Road in Wilton late Friday, police said. A motorist stopped an officer on patrol at about 10:30 p.m. Friday to report two people on the CVS roof, police said. Person On Tracks In Darien Not Injured When Metro-North Train Stops In Time DARIEN, Conn. -- A train bound for New York City was able to stop in time when a person walked onto the tracks in Darien at 5:25 a.m. Friday, a Metro-North spokesman said.Meredith Daniels said the individual was taken into custody by MTA Police. She had no further information on the person or whether any charges were filed. It was not clear why the person was on the tracks. The 4:05 a.m. train from New Haven to New York was delayed for about 20 minutes during the incident, Daniels said. There were no injuries.

39-Year-Old Man In Critical Condition; Struck By Car, Stamford Cops Say STAMFORD, Conn. -- A 39-year-old man is fighting for his life after he suffered severe injuries after being struck by a car around 8:30 p.m. Wednesday on West Main Street, Stamford Police said.
