Heavy Downpours, Strong Winds Strike Greenwich GREENWICH, Conn. -- The area escaped serious damage as heavy rain and strong winds swept through the area on Wednesday. The remnants of what was once the powerful Hurricane Patricia brought heavy rains, totaling as much as 2 inches in some areas.  But there is good news for Thursday, as the National Weather Service calls for better weather with lessening winds and rain before becoming sunny with a high temperature of 73 degrees.

Wilton Police Charge Queens Woman With Prostitution At Spa WILTON, Conn. -- A Queens, N.Y., woman is facing a prostitution charge after Wilton Police conducted an investigation into the Green Tea Spa on the second floor at 7 Danbury Road, police said. Yuhong Zeng, 48, of 5722 159th St., Fresh Meadows, was arrested last Thursday and charged with prostitution. She was released on $5,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in state Superior Court in Norwalk on Thursday. Wilton Police said the investigation began after a complaint of prostitution at the spa.
