Family Displaced After Large Fire In Stratford Home STRATFORD, Conn. — A two-story home in Stratford was heavily damaged in a large fire Saturday afternoon, according to the Stratford Star.  Flames were coming from the home at 260 Larkin Court when firefighters arrived at about 4:30 p.m. Saturday, firefighters said.      No injuries were reported. The residents — an adult, three children and a dog — were displaced due to the heavy damage from the fire, which was contained to a bedroom and kitchen, the Stratford Star said. Several Chickens Killed In Tractor-Trailer Rollover Crash On I-84 SOUTHBURY, Conn. — It took over six hours to finish the cleanup after a tractor-trailer carrying a load of over 5,000 live chickens and ducks rolled over on I-84 on Saturday in Southbury, Connecticut State Police said. The accident occurred on eastbound I-84 near Exit 13 at about 6 a.m. and caused traffic backups into Newtown for hours, according to Connecticut State Police. The tractor-trailer was carrying 5,164 live chickens and ducks, several of which died in the crash, WFSB said. 21-Year-Old Monroe Man Charged With Illegally Firing Gun In Neighborhood MONROE, Conn. — A 21-year-old Monroe man who illegally fired a gun in a residential neighborhood was arrested Wednesday on multiple weapons charges, police said.     The Monroe Police Department took a complaint from an individual who found a firearm in the garage of the home.
