Police Investigate Death Of 18-Year-Old Danbury Man DANBURY, Conn. — Danbury officers are investigating the death of an 18-year-old local man who died two days after he was found lying unconscious in a roadway, police said Wednesday . At 5:45 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 5, several officers were dispatched on a complaint of suspicious activity in the area of Abbott Street, police said. Wilton Police: Newtown Man Threw Cellphone In DUI Stop, Tried To Bike Away WILTON, Conn. — A Newtown man stopped on suspicion of drunken driving became irate, thew his cellphone at officers and biked off in an attempted getaway, according to Wilton police. Several In Hospital After Rollover Of Stolen Car On Route 7 In Norwalk NORWALK, Conn. — Several people were sent to the hospital after a rollover crash involving a stolen car overnight at the end of the Route 7 Connector in Norwalk, according to News 12 Connecticut. The stolen car ended up on its side along Grist Mill Road after the crash at 3:45 a.m Wednesday, police told News 12. Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton Recovering Well After Surgery For Brain Tumor DANBURY, Conn. — Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton was "recovering well" after surgeons worked for hours Tuesday to remove a benign tumor from his brain, according to a city spokeswoman. Police: Items Stolen From Car In Smash-And-Grab At Darien YMCA DARIEN, Conn. — Smash-and-grab robbers who struck a Lexus in the parking lot of the YMCA of Darien made off with a briefcase, an umbrella and an iPad Air, police said.
