New York Man, Found In Missing Car, Arrested On Drug Charges In New Canaan NEW CANAAN, Conn. — A 19-year-old man from Pound Ridge, N.Y., was arrested on multiple charges after New Canaan police found him with an assortment of drugs in a car that had been reported missing. Services Set For Jack McMahon, 24, Of Southport FAIRFIELD, Conn. — Jack Sherman McMahon of Southport, a 2011 graduate of Fairfield Prep, died on Monday, Aug. 28. He was 24. McMahon attended the University of Alabama, where he was a member of Phi Sigma Kappa. Most recently, he was employed at the Cardinal Sheehan Center in Bridgeport. He was the son of James and Joan McMahon and brother to Henry and Grace. He is survived by his grandfather, James McMahon Sr., and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Teenage Girl Charged In Connection To Murder Of 18-Year-Old In Danbury DANBURY, Conn. — A teenager girl is now the fourth person to be arrested in connection with the murder of an 18-year-old man earlier this month in Danbury, police said.
