PepsiCo Employees Give Back In White Plains TARRYTOWN, N.Y. -- More than 400 Westchester-based employees from PepsiCo will volunteer Friday during "PepsiCo Gives Back Day," the company’s annual day of community service. Komen and WWE will join forces on Thursday to offer free mammograms to underinsured women in Stamford. As part of National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, WWE is sponsoring the Komen Connecticut grantee Stamford Mobile Mammography Unit to provide a full day of breast cancer screenings to the women of the Stamford community. Westchester Community College Plans Open House On Nov. 14 VALHALLA, N.Y. -- Westchester Community College will hold its annual fall open house on Thursday, Nov. 14 from 3:30 to 6 p.m. at its main campus, located at 75 Grasslands Road in Valhalla. Darien White 8th Graders Fall To Westport DARIEN, Conn. – The Darien White 8th grade football team lost its first game of the season Sunday with a 22-18 setback to Westport North in a Fairfield County Football League game. Darien had allowed only 24 points all season before losing to Westport, which has won four straight games. Westport is 5-2 overall while Darien fell to 6-1. Norwalk River Rowing Pulls In Collection Of Fall Medals NORWALK, Conn. -- Norwalk rowers are showing strong results this fall season, bringing home many medals for Norwalk River Rowing through the lion’s share of the season’s regattas. Sept. 29 found Norwalk River Rowing at the Head of the Merrimack in Methuen, Mass., at a regatta with 148 entries from 27 clubs from seven states.
