Norwalk Diver Helps Whirlwind Win Opening Meet NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- The Whirlwind Diving Team, which is based at the New Canaan YMCA, won the team championship at its first event of the season. Competing at the Lords of the Boards Autumn Classic in  New Jersey, Whirlwind won the team title with 455 points. West Chester Diving of Pennsylvania was second with 437.   The meet featured 17 teams from four states, and Whirlwind  took 25 divers to the  event. Harvey Ice Hockey Team Goes 2-1 In Weekend Tournament KATONAH, N.Y. -- The Harvey School boys ice hockey team went 2-1 in the White Plains Thanksgiving Tournament. Harvey lost on Sunday to White Plains, 9-3. Theo Rattner, Curtis Rattner and Keith Lambert scored for Harvey. Lambert scored six goals in three games. Fairfield Team Honored As Top Fundraiser In CT Challenge FAIRFIELD, Conn. -- The Connecticut Challenge honored its Road Warriors and top 20 fundraising teams for 2013 at a recent reception at the CT Challenge Center for Survivorship in Fairfield. Each Road Warrior commits to raising at least $3,000 to support the CT Challenge bike ride and most participate on teams, as do 85 percent of all riders. The Norwalk eighth-grade players helped the Colonial All-Stars post a 19-6 victory in a game played at Temple University.
