As Spring Arrives, Winter Takes A Parting Shot At Danbury DANBURY, Conn. -- Winter weather made a return to the Fairfield County area on the first day of spring, as snow started around midday Friday and continued into the overnight. The snow accumulation was enough to make the rush-hour drive home a mess on Friday evening. With 2 to 5 more inches of snow expected, it didn't feel much like spring, which arrived at 6:45 p.m.  Showers are possible for Saturday, with the sun expected to return Sunday and Monday. The high temperatures -- only expected to rise from the 30 into the low 40s, won't feel much like spring, either.

It's Big Business As Norwalk Community College Hosts Networking Event NORWALK, Conn. - Business people from across Fairfield County gathered Wednesday to rub elbows and network at a multi-Chamber of Commerce event held at Norwalk Community College.  The event drew visitors from across Connecticut. Over 100 businesses of all types showcased their talents, services and products, and lots of delicious food samples were offered. The Greater Norwalk Chamber of Commerce hosted along with the Chambers of Commerce from Bridgeport, Darien, Fairfield, Stamford, Stratford, Trumbull and Weston/Westport.
