The document, which covers zoning, is called the comprehensive plan, according to Mayor Michael Cindrich, who is supportive of an update. Runners Get Green Light For Mount Kisco 5K Road Race MOUNT KISCO, N.Y. -- Mount Kisco will have its own road race after the Village Board of Trustees gave its approval for the event at a recent meeting. Chappaqua Swim & Tennis Supports Cerebral Palsy Group CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- The Chappaqua Swim & Tennis Club swimming team celebrated its annual Christmas in July summer swim practice last week by helping support causes dealing with cerebral palsy. Club swimmer Sam Mason, a 10-year-old, who has cerebral palsy, has been an inspiration to the team, according to coach Dan Levy. New Castle Mosque Plan Altered; Wednesday Hearings Scheduled CHAPPAQUA, N.Y. -- The proposal for the Upper Westchester Muslim Society's (UWMS) mosque in New Castle has been revised to include fewer on-site parking spaces and a larger landscaped setback, a document submission to the town shows. The latest revision, detailed in the project’s Final Environmental Impact Statement (FEIS), shows that the number of on-site parking spaces has been cut from 217 spaces, which includes tandem, to 120.
