17-Year-Old Arrested In Fatal Shooting Of Teen: Middlesex County Prosecutor A 17-year-old was arrested and charged on Thursday, April 3, for fatally shooting a 16-year-old in New Brunswick last month, authorities said. On Monday March 31, at 6:34 p.m., officers responded to Lee Avenue and Rutgers Street and found a 16-year-old, later identified as Brandon Romero, with gunshot wounds, Middlesex County Prosecutor Yolanda Ciccone and Chief Vincent Sabo of the New Brunswick Police Department said. Woodbridge Teen Nabbed After Fleeing From Cops Following Shooting: Linden PD An 18-year-old Iselin man was arrested on Monday, April 7 for his role in a shooting in Linden last month, authorities said. On Sunday, March 23, just after midnight, officers responded to Aviation Plaza after shots were fired from inside a local restaurant, Linden police said. Multiple suspects fled the scene, police said. Two men were located near West 15th Street and South Stiles Street and fled from officers, police said. Ocean County Cocaine Dealer Learns Fate: Prosecutor A 50-year-old Toms River drug dealer was sentenced to 11 years in prison on Friday, April 4, authorities said. Live-In Nanny Shook, Tossed Two Infants: Jackson PD A 58-year-old live-in nanny was arrested and charged last month for abusing two 7-week-old twin infants in Jackson, authorities said. A father reported his wife observed their nanny, who was not identified by police, shaking, tossing and improperly handling their newborn babies, Jackson police said.
