Inmate Among Three Charged In Linden Robbery Spree Police believe they have found the people behind two robberies that plagued Linden last winter. The Linden Police Department announced the arrest of Isiah Barrett, a 32-year-old Elizabeth resident, Daron Thomas, a 32-year-old resident of East Orange and Alfred Pierre, a 37-year-old Roselle resident. Legendary Bergen County Baseball Coach Ralph Cobb Dies, 92 Legendary Bergen County high school baseball coach Ralph Cobb died on Wednesday, April 5. He was 92 years old. Cobb was born and raised in North Arlington and graduated from Rutgers University. A standout baseball player, he earned a tryout with the then-New York Giants and later served in the U.S. Army from 1952 to 1955, his obituary states.
