Former Employee Broke Into Cos Cob Business, Greenwich Police Say GREENWICH, Conn. -- A former employee of a Cos Cob veterinary hospital was arrested after police said he was surprised by the business owner who discovered he had been in there after hours without permission and allegedly was using the business’ narcotics. Wilton Police: Man Struck By SUV Suffers Serious Injuries WILTON, Conn., -- Wilton police are investigating an accident Friday evening in which a 61-year-old man was struck by an SUV as he attempted to cross Route 7.  The unnamed man was thrown 25 feet and landed in the northbound lane. He suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries, police said Monday. The accident occurred at 4:18 p.m. when the southbound BMW X5 driven by Angela Stefanopoulos, 53, of 463 Newtown Turnpike, Redding, struck the man at the intersection with Honey Hill Road.  No charges have been laid as police continue to investigate the accident.
