Greenwich Firefighters Free Trapped Rabbit GREENWICH, Conn., -- Firefighters aren't always rushing to fires sometimes they act quickly to free a rabbit. On Saturday, the crew from Engine 4 helped free a rabbit that was stuck in a fence. The firefighters worked for a couple of minutes including cutting a small part of the wire fence to free. Stamford Police Investigating Shooting of Couple Early Sunday STAMFORD, Conn., -- A 28-year-old man was shot six times while his 21-year-old girlfriend was shot twice early Sunday after they drove from a Greenwich Avenue club early Sunday. The man was shot in the right leg, groin, right arm and abdomen and is slated to have surgery Sunday at Stamford Hospital. The woman was shot in her abdomen and right leg and is in stable condition after undergoing surgery.
