Man Arrested In Greenwich Robbery, Assault Of Taxi Driver GREENWICH, Conn. -- A Port Chester, N.Y., taxi driver is recovering in Stamford Hospital after he was severely injured after being robbed early Saturday by a knife-wielding man, police said. Miguel A. Reyes-Pantoja, 26, of 23 Poningo St., Port Chester, was arrested at the scene on South Water Street by Greenwich Police. Fellow taxi drivers had rushed to the area after the victim called for help over the taxi's CB radio, and they notified police. Stamford Boys & Girls Club Members Pick Out Free Shoes From Payless STAMFORD, Conn., -- A shoe retailer will give about 150 Stamford Boys & Girls Club members free shoes as part of its international children's shoe-giving program.
