Stamford Teen Charged With Threatening To Shoot School Dean STAMFORD, Conn. -- An unruly summer school student is facing charges of threatening to shoot the assistant dean at Stamford Academy after a dispute over he wore clothing emblazoned with pictures of pot leaves, police said. Shicquane Hackeem Narine, 19, of 11 Finney Lane, was charged with second-degree breach of peace and second-degree threatening. He turned himself in to police Wednesday after a warrant was issued for his arrest. Stamford Woman Killed In Motorcycle Crash On Route 7 In Wilton WILTON, Conn., -- A 53-year-old Stamford woman is dead after she lost control of her motorcycle Sunday evening on Route 7 in Wilton, police said. Susan Tolliver of 16 Remington St., Stamford, died in Norwalk Hospital on Sunday night, Wilton Police said. She had been operating a 2003 Buell Firebolt XB9R southbound on Route 7 at 7:11 p.m. when she lost control of the motorcycle, police said. Police: Stamford Man, 85, Hit Wife In Head With Ax In Dispute Over Food STAMFORD, Conn. -- Angry over a meal his wife prepared for him, an 85-year-old Stamford man fractured his wife's skull with an axe Saturday night, police said. At about 11 p.m., the 46-year-old woman prepared food for her husband, Selvin Hazel, of Quintard Terrace. The man balked at the food and his mood turned to a rage as he grabbed an ax from the closet and hit her in the head with it, police said. New Canaan Man Accused Of Sexually Assaulting 3-Year-Old At Wife's Day Care NEW CANAAN, Conn. -- A 48-year-old New Canaan man arrested last week is charged with sexually assaulting a 3-year-old child four times from his wife's day care, according to the Hour. Bayron Castro, 48, of 96 Locust Ave., Apt. B, was charged with second-degree sexual assault and risk of injury to a minor in connection with the incidents, which occurred form July 10 to 16, according to the Hour. Planned Parenthood Foes Rally Against Abortion In Stamford STAMFORD, Conn. -- Laila Bravo said that when she turned to Planned Parenthood for information after she became pregnant in 2014, the only thing she heard from them was how she could abort the fetus. "The receptionist said we do abortions here," Bravo said during a protest against Planned Parenthood on Tuesday in front of the Stamford Government Center.
