Two-Car Crash Slows Traffic On Route 8 In Bridgeport Update: The crash scene has been cleared, and traffic is moving normally.  BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A two-car crash on Route 8 was causing traffic delays on Wednesday afternoon in Bridgeport, according to the Department of Transportation.  The accident was on Route 8 southbound between Exits 2 and 1 in Bridgeport, DOT said.
