Man Hit By Car In Bridgeport Hospitalized With Life-Threatening Injuries BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A man was hospitalized with life-threatening injuries after he was hit by a car in Bridgeport on Wednesday night, according to multiple media reports. The man was walking on Main Street when he was hit by the car at about 11:40 p.m., according to the Connecticut Post. He was taken to St. Vincent's Medical Center, the Post said.  The driver called 911 and remained at the scene, according to NBC Connecticut. Services Set For Danbury City Councilman Gregg Seabury, Retired Teacher DANBURY, Conn. — Gregg William Seabury, a Danbury City Councilman and a retired teacher, died Saturday, Nov. 4. He was 67.  Seabury passed away in Danbury Hospital, where he was born in 1949.  He was a longtime teacher in the Danbury school system, including at Broadview Middle School, Rogers Park Middle School and Danbury High School. Vehicle Rolls Down Embankment In Brookfield BROOKFIELD, Conn. — A car rolled down an embankment on Wednesday evening in Brookfield, but no injuries were reported.  Both town fire companies responded to the crash scene at 6:15 p.m. at the intersection of Signal Hill Road and Barkwood Hill Road, the Brookfield Volunteer Fire Department's Candlewood Company said in a Facebook post.  Modzelewski's Recovery & Heavy Hauling was called to the scene to remove the vehicle, which had rolled down an embankment, fire officials said.  There were no reported injuries, fire officials said.

Eversource Digs Up Downtown Stamford To Upgrade Natural Gas System STAMFORD, Conn. — The crews digging up streets in downtown Stamford are upgrading the natural gas distribution system for Eversource.  The company is investing more than $700,000 to increase safety and reliability for its customers.
