3 People, 2 Pets Escape Fire Unharmed In Weston Home WESTON, Conn. — A crew from the Fairfield Fire Department joined 28 Weston volunteer firefighters in battling a house fire Saturday afternoon on Saw Mill Road, according to a Facebook post. The Weston Volunteer Fire Department found heavy fire and smoke coming from the rear of the home when they arrived at about 1 p.m. Saw Mill Road is shared with the town of Fairfield, and the Fairfield Fire Department responded after receiving 911 calls as well.
