Eight Streets Affected By Water Main Break In New Canaan NEW CANAAN, Conn. — About 50 customers in New Canaan were without water Saturday morning after a break in an 8-inch water pipe at 5 Old Norwalk Road, according to the New Canaan Advertiser.  The break was affecting water service on eight streets: Old Norwalk Road, Lincoln Drive, Hollywood Avenue, Holly Road, Old Kings Highway, Birchwood Avenue, Anthony Lane, and Shaker Road, the Advertiser said.
