19-Year-Old Bridgeport Man Shot To Death BRIDGEPORT, Conn. — A 19-year-old Bridgeport man who was shot in the stomach late Thursday has died in the city's 20th homicide of the year, police said.  At 11 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to the corner of Beadsley Street and Newfield Avenue on a report of a person shot, police said.  They found Eric Diaz, 19, of 5 Yarrington Court, shot in the abdomen, police said.  He was transported to Bridgeport Hospital by ambulance, where he died hours, police said.
