Obi resided in Greenwich while playing for Greens Farms. Obi was honored for his two solid performances in games last week. He averaged 12.5 points, 10.0 rebounds and 1.0 blocks. Darien 8th Graders Win League Championship DARIEN, Conn. – The Darien eighth-grade football team defeated Wilton, 26-7, to win the Fairfield County Football League championship Saturday at Darien High School. Darien finished the season 10-1 and cruised through the playoffs, outscoring opponents 61-27. Darien’s defense limited opponents to eight points or less in nine of the 11 games.
