Fatal Crash Closes I-95 Near Ny-ct Border For Six Hours Friday Morning PORT CHESTER, N.Y. – Northbound Interstate 95 near the New York-Connecticut border was closed for nearly six hours early Friday morning as state police investigated a fatal accident. The accident, which occurred around 2:45 a.m., was between a small passenger car and a Department of Transportation pickup truck, according to multiple reports. Easton's Dumas Named First-Team All Conference At Hartwick EASTON, Conn. – Easton’s Brittney Dumas, a sophomore at Hartwick College who played at Joel Barlow High School in Redding, was a first team selection to the Empire 8 Conference women’s basketball team. Dumas is Hartwick’s leading scorer and rebounder, with averages of 15.4 points and 10.4 rebounds per game. She also leads the team in blocked shots and is second in steals. Darien Library Celebrates 'Louise Berry Day' As Director Retires DARIEN, Conn. – The outgoing director of Darien Library will be honored at Louise Berry Day on Thursday, Feb. 27, beginning at 4 p.m. at the library.
