Betty Sclocco, 80, Lifelong Ossining Resident OSSINING, N.Y. -- Betty Sclocco, a lifelong resident of Ossining died on March 3. She was 80. Sclocco was born in Ossining on Aug. 28, 1933, the daughter of Elizabeth Knowlton and Joseph F. Haggerty, Sr. She was employed many years at Pace University Environmental Center in Pleasantville. Betty is survived by her daughter, Gail Sclocco, a sister, Jean (William) Maguire, and several nieces and nephews.  Her husband, Robert Sclocco, and three brothers, Joseph Haggerty, Jr., John “Bud” Haggerty and William Haggerty, Sr. predeceased her. Wilton Wahoos Swimmers Glide To Top Results At Meets WILTON, Conn. -- The Wilton Wahoos swim team for ages 13-and-up competed in several meets with outstanding results in recent meets. At the Orlando Grand Prix in February, nine members of the national squad participated in a meet with more than 500 swimmers. Stephen Holmquist swam in seven events in the three-day meet, with his best a ninth place finish in the 400-meter individual medley.
