Man Arrested In Branford Killing; Police Asking For Tips Police have arrested a man in connection with a killing in Branford on Thursday, May 1. Authorities have released little information other than police were called to 100 Hemlock Road around 4 p.m. Detectives were still processing evidence as of press time. Woman Says Man Paid Her $100 To Rob Tolland, Mansfield Banks: Police A Hartford woman was arrested this week on a three-year-old warrant after telling police that a stranger paid her $100 to drive around Connecticut robbing banks, authorities said. Sarah Stuart, 24, was taken into custody on Wednesday, March 30, and charged with theft, conspiracy to commit robbery, and two counts of robbery, according to Connecticut State Police. Police ID Body Found In Connecticut River In Rocky Hill As Woman Missing Since March A 72-year-old woman reported missing in March was found dead in the Connecticut River in Rocky Hill earlier this week, authorities announced on Thursday, May 1. Mary Colasanto was reported missing from her home in Glastonbury on Welles Street in late March. A boater contacted police around 9 a.m. on Sunday, April 27, to report finding a body in the water. Authorities identified her on Wednesday as Colasanto. Glastonbury police are investigating the incident. Police did not disclose the cause of death. Funeral services for Colasanto were unclear as of Thursday.
